    The Jordan Love Era Begins

Yeah, there have been a lot of studies proving that people are more interested in making more relative to others rather than just making more in an absolute sense. Envy is powerful force. I've seen other studies that show people will turn down free money if it means someone they dislike gets...

    The Jordan Love Era Begins

Fans forget that one of the big draws for Adams going to the Raiders was so that his grandparents (on both sides) could finally see him play an NFL game and that his father doesn't fly and wasn't able to make the 35 hour drive to Green Bay that often. There are plenty of reasons to think Love...

    Assessing the Draft Class (2024)

I think this was a great needs-based draft in which Gute grabbed the BPA for the position groups he was most concerned with. I think Morgan will get a season to continue recovering from the torn ACL he suffered in November, 2022. Remember how rusty Jenkins looked when he came back from his torn...

    2024 Draft Prospect Discussions

He doesn't have the lateral agility or proven route running to be worth a round 2 pick imo. I don't care how fast he is in a straight line if he can't cut behind the LoS to hit the open hole.

    2024 Draft Prospect Discussions

At safety I would be happy with (all of this is obviously open to what happens at the combine) Tyler Nubin in the first or Calen Bullock on day 2 since I think the biggest need on the team is safety and either one of those two projects to be a pretty good free safety; Nubin would make the bigger...

What "Gute" Type Early Picks Could We See...

Braelon Allen, day 2 pick from Gute. Much like Dillon, he'a big, fast running back without much wiggle, suspect vision ( i say suspect because it might just be that he's not agile enough laterally to get to holes that he sees), and a work-in-progress as a receiver. Obviously depends on combine...

    A Jordan Love Contract

The Giants set the baseline with that ridiculous Daniel Jones contract, and I expect any deal for Love will be at least $45m plus incentives with between 60% - 70% of that money guaranteed (just based on the guarantees that Burrow and Herbert recently received).

    Top Needs of the Off-Season

I think safety is probably the largest player need for the packers during the off-season and I'm really hoping they use free agency to add someone like McKinney or Stone on a relatively inexpensive deal (both aren't elite safeties but would have absolutely been the best coverage safeties on the...

    2023 PFF SEASON GRADES

Here's one of the problems with looking at scores in a vaccuum. End of season OL rankings by PFF put the Packers at 11th...so not elite but certainly above average, nowhere close to subpar. Eg., Jon Runyan's grade isn't great but his "low" ranking makes him 48th among guards...that's not good...

Fire Joe Barry -- Updated -- he's gone

If MLF is going to do what he's always done, it will be ignore the efficacy of Joe Barry's job skills and continue to employ the worst DC in the NFL. Single biggest step forward this team could make this off-season would be to hire a competent (not even good!) DC.

    The Jordan Love Era Begins

I've posted it elsewhere but I think Brady's defenses in the playoffs gave up 30+ points a total of 7 times over his entire career? Rodgers' defenses have averaged giving up over 30 over his career. So no, I don't have to give a QB credit for consistently having an elite defense. I give that...

    The Jordan Love Era Begins

No…unless you’re arguing that Brady was the better defensive coach? Cause the only advantage Brady had was his defense always being elite while the other two had clown college defenses.
