    I had This Nightmare

Ron Wolf traded for Favre, and he started playing when Majkowski was injured. He didn't follow the pattern Rodgers and Love did, although he sat for a year in Atlanta. This was around the time the team was starting its return to success. The organization stunk in the '70s and '80s.

That's me, Mr. Rational lol. Anyway, it looks like the NFC North is going to be a tough division in the coming years. Maybe it will be a case of a rising tide raising all ships.

For there to be no luck involved at all, that would mean that you could predict how well every single draft pick would perform in the NFL. So yeah, luck is always a factor.

I have no issue with the luck comment. You don't even get out of bed in the morning without a little bit of good fortune. Sounds like the Lions are favored to win the division. I'd like to see us in that spot, but we have a very tough schedule, and I admit Detroit is very well coached.

    I had This Nightmare

Worst night of my life. I live in Indiana, and most people were Bears fans around here until the Colts came. After the Super Bowl, I went to a bar, and it was just crawling with people in Bears jerseys running around yelling "Whoo!". I kept thinking I should have stayed home lol. And by the...

You're absolutely right. But I do want to point out that for whatever reason, both Favre and Rodgers were mentioned as sure fire HoF QBs very early in their careers.

    I had This Nightmare

Yeah, I mean I don't see any reason why Love can't make the HoF, it's just that after two in a row, I feel like I'd be pushing it expecting that out of him. And honestly, with the last couple QBs, there was so much focus on them being HoF QBs, it kind of overshadowed the team sometimes. And...

Nah, losing to the 49ers is more of a Rodgers impersonation. They've had our number in recent years, and this is about as close as we've come to beating them. As for Love, I don't know if he's headed for the HoF, but I have confidence he's going to play at a high level, and good enough to lead...

    2024 draft discussion thread

Yeah, I mean at this point does this team even have any weaknesses? (Kicker) But the Lions are still favorites to win the division, and we have a tough schedule. I heard someone say the NFC North may be the best division in the NFL, and that may be. Packers, Lions, and Bears all look tough...

Amazing to think Aaron Jones was a fifth round pick, he was one of the best players in the NFL last year.

Most hated teams outside of the division

You sound like kind of an anti-fan. I had a similar situation several years back with the Colts/Bears Super Bowl. I rooted against the Bears of course, but it was a lose/lose situation for me. Because I live in Indiana, and I'm surrounded by Colts fans. So if they won (and they did), I knew...

    2024 draft discussion thread

I thought it was kind of funny how the Detroit crowd kept booing the Packers when they came up to pick. I really like that one guy, he was named International Packer Fan of the Year, he came out dressed to the nines in Packer gear, and was trolling the Detroit crowd. He said "Detroit, I've got...

Most hated teams outside of the division

Right now for me it's the 49ers. I'm just sick to death of losing to them in the playoffs. I hated the Cowboys for decades, but I seem to have gotten over it. McCarthy coaching there has helped, as has their lack of success since the early '90s.

    The Packers All-Personality Team

And a pretty good team, to boot.
